Roberta Alessandrini got her post degree certificate in Art Direction Corporate Image and has continued her studies at Domus Academy (Shop Vision with Cibic, Silvestrin, Bucci, Novembre, Morace) and the University of the Arts London – College St Martins (Interior design for Retail).
Her career as project manager, visual merchandiser and retail trainer began in 2004 at Miss Sixty and then with brands such as Trussardi, Diesel and Poste Italiane. She’s been a lecturer in several international design schools like Accademia Italiana and IED Milan, visiting professor at Auburn University, Richmond University, Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma.
In 2014 after an intensive training on Lean Management and Startup fundamentals she founded a successful IoT startup: FILO, where she has worked for 3 years as Biz Dev. and B2B account manager. Filo is a smart Bluetooth tracker. The company went through a successful exit in April, 2023.
Today Roberta is a member of John Cabot University mentors community, to assist students to bring their biz projects into life. Her training activities includes corporate training for fashion brands and retail groups such as Sinteks, OVS, Samsonite, Moleskine and Vans.
She’s keen on the new economy/digital scenario and keeps on researching on the new challenges of online and offline retail, sustainability, web3 and provides e-learning projects tailored on the HR needs.
In 2017 ESNE University in Madrid published her paper on “Teaching in the startup era: a lean approach”.
Her latest research involves the mind-body reconnection and the co-design of tailored corporate workshops, with an educational, creative or team building focus.
She’s based in Rome and works as a trainer for corporates and academies on a consultancy basis.
